What is a Dab Tool?

A dab tool is a stick used to move your dab to the heated nail. It’s not just any stick, though. You want to make sure that it’s made of something that won’t break when using it. Many people use aluminum or titanium because they’re both solid and durable.

You can use your dabbing tools whenever you want to take a hit of concentration. Just make sure that the nail is hot enough before you attempt to dab it!

Different Dab Tools Designs?

The Dabbing tools are essential for your dab setup, so finding one that works for you is essential. There are a few different types of dab tools and designs, including:

The paddle is a long flat tool made from plastic or metal to scrape concentrates from a container into a rig.

Scoops are usually made from silicone and are shaped like spoons or ladles that can be used to scoop concentrates onto your nail or banger.

Pick Tip is also known as a “dabber” or “nail pick.” This tool is used with rigs and nails to pick up waxes and concentrates. It’s typically made from glass and has a curved tip at one end that can be used to scrape out dabs with precision.

Carb Caps—these caps fit onto the top of your nail or banger and help trap heat inside to get the most out of each hit! Carb caps come in many different shapes and sizes, so it’s best to experiment until you find one that works for you!

How Do You Use A Dab Tool?

Get your wax dish ready with the contents you’re dabbing ready. Assemble your nail and rig and other dab accessories; now it is time to use your dab tool.

There are a few different ways to use a dab tool, but we will discuss the most common way here.

The first thing you need to do is heat your nails to be friendly and hot. Please do this by turning on your torch and heating the nail until red-hot. You should also preheat your rig so that when you are ready to take a hit, there isn’t any resistance from the air being cold or cool.

Once everything is ready, place your wax or shatter on top of your nail using one hand while holding onto the dab tool with the other hand. Place the tip of the tool directly into the center of your concentrate and begin pressing down firmly until you can see vapor coming from around the edges of your tool.

After pressing firmly for about 10 seconds, remove the tool from its position over top of your concentrate and take a big pull from your rig’s mouthpiece.
